FATHER FIGURE. This winter Nick Kanellis and I toured over this big continent with our sketch show. We had this dual-monologue sketch about two closeted gay boys from opposite ends of the earth that ended in a musical bit. And…while Nick was in motherfucking show choir and I am not tone deaf, we needed to be whipped into shape on the harmonies. Cue the tremendous Joel Esher, who hooked this up for us. Props to Joel!

For the past several months I’ve had the great honor of directing some of the best improvisers in New York City on Magnet House Team Chet Watkins. They’re insanely talented and have been destroying the house on Wednesday nights for a while now. For the past couple months, I’ve had the pleasure of directing the Magnet Theater’s newest house team, Attack Heart Attack. They’re an awesome and incredibly talented gang of folks who got retired way too soon. James Dean.
